Occlusal Splints
If grinding and clenching your teeth at night is the culprit, we will recommend an occlusal splint. This customized oral appliance is worn while you sleep and keeps teeth from touching. Not only will it reduce wear and tear to your tooth enamel, but it will also alleviate any tension that is normally placed on your jaw joints, allowing you to get a better night’s sleep.
BOTOX Injections
Dr. Woo will administer injections in the area of your jaw joints so that the muscles will temporarily relax, minimizing clenching and grinding as well as any pain. The results can last 3-4 months, providing much-needed short-term relief.
